Help & support
Everything about PepperMail — account, mailbox, pricing, settings, import, and privacy.
No. You can create a PepperMail account with just your email and a password. We don't require a phone number or extra profile data. In rare cases we may ask for an extra verification step to prevent misuse.
Click “Create a PepperMail account” or “Register” and enter your email and a password. After signing up, log in and go to “New Mailbox” to choose your @peppermail.net address and complete payment.
If you see a session expired message, click “Continue to Login” to sign in again. Your mailboxes and data remain; you just need to re-authenticate.
You get a professional address on our domain, e.g. you@peppermail.net (or other available domains we offer). You choose your username and domain when creating a new mailbox.
No. PepperMail works without a domain. You use our @peppermail.net (or similar) address. Perfect for freelancers, small businesses, and personal use.
After logging in, go to Dashboard → “New Mailbox”. Pick a domain (e.g. peppermail.net), enter a username (at least 3 characters), and check availability. Once it's available, continue to checkout.
The system checks availability in real time. If it's taken, try a different username or a slight variation. You can also try another domain if we offer more than one.
The PepperMail Annual Plan is $60 for the first year, then renews at $120 per year. You pay once per year.
You get a @peppermail.net address, 1 GB mailbox storage, full access to the SuitePepper mail app, unlimited sending and receiving, and priority support.
Payment is handled securely by Stripe. After you choose your mailbox address, you're taken to Stripe Checkout to enter your card details. Once payment succeeds, your mailbox is activated.
If you cancel or a renewal fails, your mailbox may move to a suspended or cancelled state. Check the Dashboard for status and subscription end date. Contact support for billing issues.
From the Dashboard you can see all your mailboxes, refresh the list, and create a new mailbox. For each mailbox you can view status, storage used, subscription end date, and open “Change Password” or “Import Emails”.
Pending: mailbox is being set up after payment. Active: ready to use. Suspended: access temporarily limited (e.g. payment or policy). Cancelled: subscription ended.
Each mailbox includes 1 GB storage. The Dashboard shows how much you've used (e.g. 50 MB / 1 GB) with a progress bar. Keep an eye on usage to avoid hitting the limit.
Yes. Each plan purchase adds one mailbox. Use “New Mailbox” to add another; you'll go through address selection and checkout for each new mailbox.
In the Dashboard, click the key icon next to the mailbox, or go to Mailbox → Change Password. Enter a new password (at least 8 characters) and confirm. This is the password you use in mail apps (IMAP/SMTP) and the SuitePepper app.
The mailbox password must be at least 8 characters. You must enter it twice to confirm. This applies to the mailbox login password, not your website account password.
PepperMail is built for privacy. We don't scan your mail for ads. Your mailbox is stored on secure infrastructure. We also help protect you from email trackers so senders and advertisers can't easily track what you open or click.
Yes. From the Dashboard, click the import icon for a mailbox (or go to Mailbox → Import). You can bring in mail from Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, iCloud, another PepperMail account, or any provider that supports IMAP.
For Gmail and Yahoo you must use an App Password, not your normal account password. The import page has a link to instructions for creating an App Password. Enter that and your email; we use secure IMAP to copy messages.
Import runs in the background. You'll see a success message and then be redirected to the Dashboard. Large inboxes may take a while; you can keep using PepperMail while import continues.
We have one-click settings for Gmail, Outlook/Hotmail, Yahoo, iCloud, and PepperMail. For other providers, choose “Other” and enter your IMAP server, port, and encryption (e.g. SSL on port 993).
Use the Mail Service Configuration section on your Dashboard for server details. In general: incoming server mail.peppermail.net (IMAP port 993 with SSL, or IMAPS), outgoing server mail.peppermail.net (SMTP port 587 with STARTTLS or 465 with SSL). We provide links to step-by-step guides for Outlook and Apple Mail.
IMAP/IMAPS: syncs folders across devices (recommended). POP3/POP3S: downloads mail to one device. SMTP/SMTPS: used for sending. The Dashboard table shows host (mail.peppermail.net), ports (e.g. 993, 587, 465), and encryption (SSL/TLS). Use SSL/TLS options for security.
Log in to the Dashboard and open the “Mail Service Configuration” section. You'll see a table with Service (IMAP, IMAPS, POP3, POP3S, SMTP, SMTPS), Encryption, Host (mail.peppermail.net), and Port for each.
Use the SuitePepper app (web and mobile) or any email client (Outlook, Apple Mail, Thunderbird, etc.) by configuring IMAP/SMTP with your mailbox address and password.
Download on the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). The landing page has direct links. You can also use the web interface. Your inbox syncs across all devices.
Yes. We offer priority support as part of your plan. Reach out for setup help, configuration, or any issues with your mailbox.
Yes. We help protect you from trackers that tell senders and advertisers what you open and click. You'll see when we've blocked trackers so you have more control over who can monitor your activity.
No. PepperMail is ad-free. We don't scan your messages to build advertising profiles. Your mailbox is designed so only you control what you share.
Your emails are stored on secure infrastructure with strong controls. We focus on delivering and storing your mail, not mining it, so everyday conversations and sensitive details stay between you and your contacts.
